Staff Sergeant Choi Janghwan was born in 419 Wolyong-ri, Deoksan-myeon, Jecheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, Oct. 20, 1944. He was assigned to 5th Company, 1st Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
