Captain Jang Yongseok was born in 320 Simgokbon-dong, Sosa-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Jun. 6, 1947. He was assigned to 26th Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
Captain Jang Yongseok was killed in action May. 9, 1971 in the area of Xuan To, Song Cau. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 03-5-256 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
