Sergeant Kim Sangtae was born in 1940s in 206 Gunja-dong, Gwangjin-gu, City of Seoul. He was assigned to Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.

Staff Sergeant Yu Yongsu was killed in in action Dec. 17, 1965 in the area of Phuoc Thanh, Tuy Phuoc, Binh Dinh. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried in 51-1-31 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
