Sergeant Oh Youngho died Sep. 1, 1969 in Phuoc Thanh, from wounds caused by an enemy’s sniper shooting during search and reconnaissance operation. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Hwarang. He was buried at 19-3-2714 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
