Corporal Goo Ja’il was born in 910 Bongsan-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon City, mar. 24, 1942. He was assigned to 7th Company, Armor Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
Corporal Goo Ja’il was killed may. 31, 1966 in Binh Hoa, Nui That(BR 734538), during a battle with enemies in a military operation. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 48-1-276 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.

Corporal Jo Jeonghwa died Aug. 17, 1966 in Binh Hoa, Nui That(BR 887397), from wounds caused by an enemy’s booby trap explosion during a search and reconnaissance action. He was buried at 48-1-354 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
