Staff Sergeant Kwon Yeonggak died Nov. 15, 1971 in Song Cau, Xuan To(CQ 082773), from wounds caused by a booby trap explosion during a reconnaissance action of roads. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 03-2-3843 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetry.
