Corporal Kim DaeYeong died Jun. 29, 1967 in Tay Son, Binh Thuan(BR 927540), from wounds caused by a booby trap explosion during an ambush action. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 26-3-927 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetry.
