Staff Sergeant Lee Yongtae died Mar. 25, 1971 in south-west area of Phu Cat airfield(BR 224446), from wounds caused by an enemy’s sniper shooting during an ambush operation. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Hwarang. He was buried at 02-2-3523 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.

Sergeant 1st Class Gang Bonglib died May. 15, 1971 in Phu Cat, Cat Hanh, Nui Voc Cat(BR 874425), from wounds caused by an enemy’s booby trap explosion during nearby search action of Tiger Operation 16. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at his Family Cemetery.
