Sergeant Jang Minjoo died Jul. 3, 1971 in Phu Cat, Cat Hanh, Nui Voc Cat(CQ 086763), from wounds caused by an enemies’ shell explosion during an ambush action. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 03-3-3719 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetry.
