Corporal Choo Myeonggyu was killed Apr. 2, 1966 in east of Tay Son, Song Con(BR 364396), during a battle with enemies in Operation Beongae 66-5. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Chungmu. He was buried at his Family Cemetery.
