Sergeant 1st Class Park Dongsoo was born in Daehyeon-ri, Sannae-myeon, Wolseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Jan. 3, 1944. He was assigned to 4th Company, 1st Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
HeSergeant 1st Class Park Dongsoo died May. 20, 1969 in Tuy Phuoc, Go Boi, Hung My(CR 030441), from wounds caused by an enemy’s sniper shooting during The Hwarang Operation 69-3. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 19-1-2534 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
