Sergeant 1st Class Gang Bonglib was born in Jeoji-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Bukjeju-gun, Jeju-do, Apr. 22, 1946. He was assigned to 4th Company, 1st Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
Sergeant 1st Class Gang Bonglib died May. 15, 1971 in Phu Cat, Cat Hanh, Nui Voc Cat(BR 874425), from wounds caused by an enemy’s booby trap explosion during nearby search action of Tiger Operation 16. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at his Family Cemetery.

Staff Sergeant Kim Younggeun died Jul. 24, 1970 in Phu Cat, Cat Hung, My Thun(CR 013441), from wounds caused by a booby trap explosion during transportation of supplies mission. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at 02-3-3268 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
