Sergeant Shin Dongyeol died May. 2, 1966 in Phu Cat, Cat Hanh, during a military action. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Hwarang. He was buried at 48-1-254 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetry.

Staff Sergeant Kang Booui died Nov. 23, 1966 in Phu Cat, Cat Hanh, during a river-crossing operation. He was buried at family cemetry.
