Staff Sergeant Park Won’in was born in 66-1 BongseonSonghyeon-dong, Dong-gu, Incheon City, Dec. 11, 1948. He was assigned to HQ Battery, 60th Artillery Battalion, Artillery Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
Staff Sergeant Park Won’in died Feb. 9, 1972 in Phu Cat airfield(BR 914431), from wounds caused by an enemy’s shell explosion. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit a Commendation for bravery. He was buried at 03-2-3919 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
