Staff Sergeant Gu Yeonhwan was born in 238-1 Seongam-ri, Naebuk-meyon Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. He was assigned to 26th Regiment, Tiger Division and was dispatched to Vietnam; stationed in the area of Binh Dinh Province.
Staff Sergeant Gu Yeonhwan was killed Jun. 5, 1967 in the area of Xuan To, Song Cau while carrying out a military operation. He was buried at 26-3-914 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.

Private 1st Class Ryu Geunyeong was killed in action Jul. 28, 1967 in the area of Xuan To, Song Cau. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Inheon. He was buried at a family cemetery.

Corporal Yu Sanggeun was killed in action Nov. 7, 1967 in the area of Xuan To, Song Cau. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit Hwarang. He was buried at 26-2-1308 graveyard in Seoul National Cemetery.
